Report an incident

CYBER is not a law-enforcement reporting service and does not accept reports. Use the official channels below — choose the one that matches what happened. You can report to more than one.

If anyone is in immediate danger, call 911. Never share passwords, wallet recovery phrases (seed phrases) or private keys with anyone claiming to help — including people who say they are from the FBI, IC3, or a "fund recovery" company.

Crypto scam victims

Record transaction hashes, wallet addresses, dates, amounts and any website or app names, then include them in your IC3 complaint.
Be wary of anyone offering to recover lost crypto for a fee. The FBI has warned about fraudulent recovery services and scammers impersonating IC3.
IC3 will never ask for payment to investigate or recover funds.
